LEARNER DRIVER, INSTRUCTOR DIE IN ACCIDENT

A truck had apparently smashed into the car the two were travelling in and driven over it at an intersection.
The car was found underneath the truck on the side of the road.

A truck has collided with a driving school car killing the instructor and the learner driver in Atlantis.

The truck had apparently smashed into the car and driven over it at the intersection of Charl Uys and Neil Hare earlier today.

The truck driver sustained minor injuries while the two men in the car died on the scene.

ER24’s Russell Meiring says the car was found underneath the truck on the side of the road.

“The rescue services had to use specialised tools to remove the bodies of the deceased from the vehicle. We believe that one of the deceased had been undergoing a drivers’ license exam at the time of this collision. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigation.”
