There Is No Democracy in Nigeria

I have observed the politics of  Nigeria at large, with utter disappointment.

It is clear by now that Nigeria cannot lead herself with the state we're in, and the cabal that presents itself as leaders.

 We don't even know the meaning of democracy, let alone practise it. In other countries, corruption is practised but not on the scale we have in Nigeria. Here public funds are embezzled at hundred percent and nothing is left for development. In fact, others embezzle​ plus  allocations of the future!

There is more interest in showing off wealth than using it for the betterment of the masses! The most foolish ones loot here and take it abroad for hiding!

 After close to sixty years of independence, we  still do not have good roads, portable drinking water, electricity, refineries (as a major oil-producing country), factories, functional and modern medical facilities cum affordable health  care for all, good education, etc.

 The so-called ministers have nothing in their upstairs while most senators are determined to die in the NASS even as they have nothing to offer. Constituency allowance are used as beer allowance.

 Workers are constantly on strike because of non-payment of salaries and so much more.

 We can only deceive ourselves that things will get better soon.

 This dream is far from reality.
